If this sort of weight-based medical bias happens to any of y'all, politely tell the doctor (during your visit) that you want them to write in your file that they are refusing ordering tests for you because of your current weight. This usually causes them to order the test anyways because they do NOT want a malpractice suit. Remember: You want to make a paper trail to hold them accountable.

Posting this on behalf of a friend, tl;dr: “Family after 8 months of living on the streets is seeking the funds to settle down & establish long term funds (such as getting work). Money is going towards the first two months of rent, temp housing (a campsite), basic survival such as food for when we move in & things like medical bills & car repairs for the truck that is serving as their home.”
hi folks, this is not an Internet tough guy post or any kind of victim blaming, but with climate horror progressing as it is, if you find yourself stuck on a hot plane like this at some point, please take it upon yourself (if you can take the heat legally) to be the one to start the passenger revolt. these people are lucky no one died. it is a matter of time before a flight crew kills someone by trapping them on a hot plane for hours and hours for no reason. busting open the emergency doors, disabling the flight and/or getting tackled or arrested is better than letting someone die of heat stroke on the tarmac. turn your phone on and call 911 at the very least. recruit help from the other passengers.
heat stroke can kill people way faster than anyone expects, and heat injury even without fully killing you can cause lifelong disability.
